The Sound Sampler was a homebrew A/D converter curcuit connecting through the Centronics parallel port and taking its power from the Oric PSU. A second 'fly lead' then came out of the interface for the Oric.

The sound sampler used a ? A/D converter which was fast enough to sample up to 20Khz.

An internal Pre-Amp for a microphone was provided (with slotted VR for gain control) and the Analogue input was connected through a single mono 3.5mm Jack socket.

The Sound Sampler curcuit and driver software was designed by Denis Bonfield.
