Playing Music

Music in WAVE may be played in a number of ways and from within most editors.
For example in the top EDIT menu the right two options select Play and Stop of the music.

Whenever any music plays, it is represented graphically in the bottom left corner play monitor (just below the Sample Viewer).

This area contains 5 fields and are denoted as ABC PR/LRW.

FieldDescription
AThis field will reflect the volume of Channel A and if Noise is used then the bar will be dithered. If the EG is taking care of the channel then a capital E will be displayed.
BThis field will reflect the volume of Channel B and if Noise is used then the bar will be dithered. If the EG is taking care of the channel then a capital E will be displayed.
CThis field will reflect the volume of Channel C and if Noise is used then the bar will be dithered. If the EG is taking care of the channel then a capital E will be displayed.
PRHolds the current Pattern Row being played.
LRWHolds the current List entry being played

In addition a Trigger Out (Pattern Note Command) will alternate the volume bars between Red and Blue. This scheme was chosen because of the limited space available.
